The first digit in the code
Resolution
A higher resolution provides more detail, but normally requires more storage capacity and network bandwidth.
3 MP
More detail than Full HD.
4 MP
High detail for most environments.
5 MP
Extra detailed surveillance image.
6 MP
For larger areas and digital zoom.
8 MP
4K resolution, 3840 × 2160.
12 MP
Very high level of detail.
16 MP
For specialist applications and large scenes.
